Are Dubai Fountain Shows Free?
You can catch the Dubai Fountain shows from several locations across Downtown Dubai and the shows are free. But you can witness the Dubai Fountain show best from the lake or boat cruise and it is not free.
Best Areas to Witness Dubai Fountain
The Waterfront Promenade out of the Dubai Mall is one of the best spots to witness the Dubai Fountains. The area remains crowded before the performance starts as it greets all the people coming out of the mall to catch the show. Be sure to come early to claim your position on the front row. You can also visit the walkway across the Souk Al Bahar. This location is not so crowded and provides a more relaxed viewing experience.
If you want to skip the crowd at the Souk Al Bahar Bridge and exit at the Dubai Mall, start 15 minutes before the performance starts from the Dubai Mall. Book a table at a restaurant that has seating on the outdoor facing the fountains to get the best view of Dubai Fountain’s light. When the shows of the incredible fountain are free from the land, it is a lot more exciting when you see them closely on a Burj Lake boat ride.
Why Ground Level is better?
To hear the sound, be sure to see the fountains from the ground floor. When water, light, and sound come together, magic happens. It is basically the main reason why Burj Khalifa is not good to view the Fountain Show.
Dubai Fountain Boardwalk bridge
It is the whole new floating platform and vantage point to spot Dubai Fountains. You can get a close encounter with the Dubai Fountain from the boardwalk. Stroll down 892 ft. (272 meters) boardwalk and closest point take you 9m (30 ft.) off the fountains. It is also known as the Dubai Fountain Walk.
Should You Attend Day or Evening Show?
